Welcome to Camping Du Moulin

Charming campsite located at the entrance of Vianden directly at the l'Our

 Season 2020 open from April 1st until September 30th 

​

 The beautiful location of Du Moulin campsite literally lures you out of the tent, caravan or motorhome. Located in the authentic village of Vianden in the Luxembourg Ardennes, you can enjoy a snack or a drink on our terrace or on the beautiful banks of the river Our.

​ 

This area with its extensive network of hiking trails brings the wild nature of the Our Valley within reach. The landscape, the rich history and the attractions in the vicinity of camping Du Moulin provide many recreational opportunities for young and old.

Camping Du Moulin is a campsite without bells and whistles in a natural environment. There are plenty of opportunities in the area for sports enthusiasts as well as culture lovers, but you can also escape from the daily worries at the campsite.

Bread service

Order your sandwiches before 4 p.m. in the afternoon and pick them up in the morning from 8 a.m. at reception.

(except Mondays)

Enjoy a delicious cup of coffee/tea or alcoholic beverage (18+) on the terrace.

Swimming and sunbathing in and around the beautiful river l'Our.

THINGS TO DO

Fishing

You can fish all along our campsite. More information about obtaining a permit at our reception. 

Adventure Park

​

Besides the famous sights Vianden has a climbing park with 90 exercises.
After a short instruction, the visitor can make a choice of different courses. 

Hiking 

Walkers can discover the past and present of the Our valley along the "Ourdallpromenade".

Cycling

600 km of cycle paths, 700 km of MTB routes, beautiful and varied landscapes, unspoilt and abundant nature.

Chairlift

Vianden has the only chairlift in Luxembourg. It takes you from 220m above sea level into the valley at an altitude of 440 m above sea level and during the ride it offers a beautiful panoramic view over the city, castle, the dam and the Our valley.

A restaurant invites you to take a break on the top.

Vianden Castle  

The castle of Vianden was built from the 11th to the 14th century on the foundations of a Roman castle and a Carolingian refugium. Since 1417 this building belongs to the house of Oranje-Nassau. After the renovation works of 1977, this fully furnished palace is considered to be one of the largest and most beautiful lordships of the Romanesque and Gothic period in Europe.
